Michael Bodri has been teaching guitar lessons since 2007. He began playing the guitar when he was 13 years old and continued to pursue his calling throughout high school, participating in the school's guitar program, studying under several excellent teachers in private one-on-one lessons, and performing on both the electric and bass guitar in multiple bands.
After graduating high school, Michael continued his education at Bloomsburg University, studying classical guitar with Matthew Slotkin. He also performed many solo and ensemble pieces at annual guitar concerts, along with his fellow guitarists in the program. He learned that any limitations he may have thought he had as a musician could be overcome with enough time and effort.
Michael's experience has inspired him to pass on his knowledge of music to his students so that they may apply his teachings towards becoming proficient in their style or genre of interest. By starting with a base of fundamental guitar knowledge and techniques, then incorporating musical examples that the student enjoys, like a favorite band or song, Mike makes it easier and more fun for his students to grasp important concepts and grow as musicians.
