Artem Tenkeli is a classically trained pianist, composer, and educator whose career bridges the worlds of performance and teaching at the highest professional level. He received his formal education at the Ural Conservatory and later refined his artistry under the guidance of professors from the Moscow Conservatory and the Gnessin Academy. His concert appearances include solo recitals, chamber music collaborations, and performances with symphony orchestras across Europe, Central Asia, and the United States. He has also collaborated with renowned musicians from institutions such as the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theatres and the Bolshoi Symphony Orchestra.
As a teacher, Artem emphasizes a comprehensive and flexible approach to musical development. His students study classical methods while also training in ear transcription, improvisation, and composition. He places great importance on sight-reading and encourages his students to engage deeply with classical repertoire, cultivating not only technical skill but also artistic sensitivity.
