Ms. Lee, a distinguished pianist, was born in Incheon, Korea, and began her piano studies at the age of seven. During her early training, she won several major Korean piano competitions, including the Nan-Pa, Sam-Ick, and Dong-A competitions. Her dedication to her craft continued as she pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor of Music degree from Seoul Theology University in Korea and continuing her studies at Rollins College in Orlando, Florida, where she studied under Dr. Runnels. She later completed an M.M. degree at the University of Central Florida with Dr. Harvey Wedden, followed by an M.M. in Piano Performance from Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton, New Jersey, where she studied with Dr. Ingrid Jacobson Clarfield. She also expanded her training in piano and accompanying through the Continuing Education program at the New England Conservatory.

Ms. Lee divides her time between teaching and performing. Her students have consistently excelled, earning awards in various music competitions and gaining acceptance into respected music programs. She has also contributed to the community as an active member of the Korean Music Association.

In March of 2025, one of her students won first place in the Mozart Piano Competition in New York, further highlighting Ms. Lee’s dedication to musical excellence and high standards as an educator.
