Dalaie Choi is a South Korean organist and accompanist performing throughout the United States and Europe. She has presented concerts at many notable international venues, including: Santa Maria del Coro (San Sebastian, Spain); Michealiskirche (Leipzig, Germany); the American Church (Berlin, Germany); the Stadtkirche (Erfut, Germany); and Omsk Organ Hall (Omsk, Russia). She also performed at the Bach Festival in Eugene, Oregon in both 2015 and 2016, and has appeared on the KWQC news program ‘Fran Riley Features.'  Dalaie particularly enjoys collaborative work and presented several concerts with First Presbyterian Church Choir of Davenport, IA, in Germany in 2018. 

Dalaie began her piano and voice training at the age of 4. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Choral Conducting (Minor: Voice) and a Master of Music degree in Music History at Yonsei University in Seoul. Moving to the US, she furthered her studies at the University of Iowa under Dr. Gregory Hand, completing a Master of Arts in Organ Performance and continuing on as a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree candidate in Organ Performance and Pedagogy (Secondary: Voice).

During her time at University of Iowa, Dalaie received a Sacred Music Certificate for additional theological studies. She went on to attain her Graduate Performance Diploma in Organ Performance at Johns Hopkins University's Peabody Institute, studying under Dr. Jeremy Filsell and Prof. Donald Sutherland. She has been selected by Peabody Institute faculty to receive the Bruce R. Eicher Prize in Organ (2018), and the James Winship Lewis Memorial Prize in Organ (2017). She also received a Ministry of Culture award in Russia in 2018.

Dalaie teaches private piano and voice lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. She also serves as music director at Concordia Lutheran Church (Wilmington, DE) and has previously served as a staff pianist at Delaware State University.
