Originally from Lawrence, Kansas, Gordon Blodgett obtained a Master of Music in Vocal Performance studying under Dr. Kathryn Leemhuis from the Boyer College of Music and Dance. As a student, he has performed the lead role of Dr. Falke in their 2021 production of Die Fledermaus, covered Arkel in their 2022 production of Pelleas et Melisande, and covered Figaro as well as performing Antonio for their 2022 production of Le Nozze di Figaro. Other recent performances include Mr. Gedge in Chicago Summer Opera's production of Albert Herring, as well as Sarastro in Music On Site, Inc.'s December 2021 production of Die Zauberflöte.

Gordon Was a Young Artist for the Springfield Regional Opera from 2017 through 2018, a performer with the Tulsa Opera Chorus for their 2019 production of Bizet's Carmen, as well as a performer with the Delaware Opera Chorus for their 2022 production of Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro.

Gordon is an avid cyclist, environmentalist, voracious reader and regular Phillies attendee. Gordon has run a private music studio since 2019, teaching middle school and high school students' saxophone and voice. His passion is helping students unlock their natural ability and discovering a love for all things music.
