Kendall-Amir Haskins has experience performing music since 2012 and has been teaching music since 2017. He is from Camden, NJ where he began his music journey playing bass, both double and electric, in a variety of styles and played sousaphone for the Camden High Marching Band.
As a member of the Creative Arts Jazz Band he gained experience performing on saxophone. During his high school years Kendall played around the area in small and big band settings. This experience prepared him for his studies at William Paterson University where he would focus on the study of Jazz Performance. Kendall spent his time expanding his knowlege under bassist Marcus McLaurine privately.
Many have helped him along his journey, and passing on this knowledge is what Kendall believes is paramount to the growth of our music community.
