Kelly Monteith is a musician and music teacher originally from Williamsburg, VA. She has over eight years of experience teaching piano and voice lessons to students of all ages and abilities. She holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Temple University and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from George Mason University. Her musical journey began at 12 when she started playing the piano, a skill that has complemented her vocal expertise throughout her career.
As a professional singer, Kelly has performed with local opera companies such as Opera Delaware and Opera Baltimore. Her passion for music has also taken her abroad, where she has sung in various locations throughout Europe, including Novafeltria, Italy; Vienna, Austria; and Reykjavik, Iceland. These experiences have enriched her artistry and deepened her understanding of diverse musical traditions and styles.
Kelly believes that music lessons should be both educational and enjoyable. She enjoys working collaboratively with students to help them achieve their musical goals, build confidence, and, most importantly, have fun. By fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment, she ensures that each student develops a strong musical foundation while cultivating a lifelong appreciation for the art.
