Rebecca Dalseide is a classically trained pianist and orchestral percussionist from Richmond, Virginia. She is a dedicated music educator who employs a dynamic and personalized approach to teaching that empowers her students to discover and develop their unique musical voices.
By the time Rebecca was six months old, her mother had already placed her in music classes, instantly making music central to her life. She grew up playing piano on the same upright that her mother and grandmother played, and became involved in percussion in high school, participating in all of the programs her school had to offer.
Rebecca prides herself on being a flexible and creative teacher, catering to the student's needs and learning styles. She maintains that while learning can be difficult, education should always be communicated with patience, positivity, and understanding to create a nurturing learning environment.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from Virginia Commonwealth University and continues to pursue professional development.
