Piano
Stephanie Abruzzo is currently an Adjunct Piano Instructor and Accompanist at Drexel University. She holds a bachelor’s degree (BM) in Piano Performance and has studied with Anthony di Bonaventura of Boston, and Robert Durso of Philadelphia.
Stephanie began teaching piano in 1995 while pursuing her Piano Performance degree from West Chester University of PA. For over 25 years, she has taught every age group, including her own two boys who began piano instruction at the age of 5. Stephanie’s students have been singled out to perform in master classes and various special performing events at Drexel University. She teaches both beginner piano classes and advanced private piano lessons at Drexel, and her students are always recommending her classes to their friends.
Stephanie has over 30 years of vocal, choral, and instrumental accompanying experience, and has accompanied for many Philadelphia area groups including Singing City of Philadelphia and Drexel University's Chamber Music Series. However, her biggest achievement is playing duets with her sons at home on the piano.
