Guitar, Piano

John Flagler started playing guitar when he was 12 years old in 1963. He took formal lessons in grade school and later in high school. While in high school he joined the school's jazz band and also learned to play the piano. He also played with a few rock bands at some of the clubs in the area also filling in on bass when required.

After graduation from high school, he enrolled in Combs College Of Music as a Performance/Education major studying flute, piano and jazz guitar. He played in a woodwind ensemble, but his true love was the guitar and the piano. He studied classical piano and in his senior year he started teaching in the Combs College Conservatory and developed a real passion for the learning process. John completed his degree receiving his bachelors in music performance and has been teaching ever since.

John has also worked in various schools in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. Sometimes he works as a studio musician as a singer or playing guitar, bass, and piano.

Watching his students mature and excel at their instrument, brings him great satisfaction. He looks forward to helping you learn the joy of playing music and becoming the musician you wish to be.
