Guitar

Giorgi Ostatishvili began his journey at the age of nine, starting with piano and voice. With a lifelong passion for music, he expanded his repertoire to include classical guitar, trumpet, and ultimately, electric guitar.

Giorgi pursued formal education in music at Camden County College, specializing in World Music Studies, Production, Audio Engineering, and general music classes. Additionally, he completed a rigorous five-year conservatory program in classical guitar in Portugal, honing his skills under the guidance of esteemed professors.

His performance career has been diverse and extensive, spanning childhood appearances on television shows in Georgia and Portugal, to live performances in theatres, cultural centers, palaces, stadiums, and even historical landmarks such as the Castle of Leiria City in Portugal. These varied experiences have enriched his understanding of music and performance, allowing him to connect with audiences in various settings.

One of Giorgi 's proudest teaching moments was when one of his beginner students mastered playing bar chords within six lessons. Personally, significant milestones in his musical journey include learning to play "Spain" on guitar and mastering the riff to "Snow" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The most influential figures in Giorgi's musical education were their professors at the conservatory in Portugal. They taught him the importance of patience and the strategies to overcome mistakes and bad habits in guitar playing.

Giorgi is passionate about sharing his knowledge of recording, engineering, producing, and playing music. As an educator, he strives to make his students feel comfortable and supported, often playing challenging parts alongside them to ensure they do not feel alone in their efforts. His goal is to instill in his students the confidence to play an instrument and the understanding that with consistent effort and a strong work ethic, mastering complex musical skills is achievable.
