Stephen Loggia is a seasoned teacher and has been a musician since the early 2000's. Steve has performed and instructed in several settings as a guitarist, bassist, and drummer.

Steve began playing music as a grade school student, and has found love and fascination in performing and writing music as an art form. Steve began teaching his first students as a teenager before going to university.

While at Drexel University, Steve studied music theory and composition, as well as guitar performance. In doing so, he learned many different approaches to writing and performing music, as well as ear training and musical analysis to help aid in his teaching style for both young children and adults.

Steve has instructed and performed many different types of music, including: Rock and Roll, Heavy Metal, Blues, Latin, Classical, Jazz, Gospel, and CCM. He has also performed live with several instruments, including as a core member of a Christian Worship Team and as a member of several pit bands for independently showcased musicals. He has also recorded in studios for a wide array of styles.

While at university, Steve also studied Psychology and earned his Master's Degree. In doing so, he learned the science of learning and education, which he implements into his teaching style. This allows him to uniquely connect with students on a beginner, intermediate, and even advanced level to help them to progress in their craft.

Steve values music as not only an art form, but as a way to connect to people around him and create something meaningful from the heart. Because of this, Steve wants to ingrain the true value of music in all of his students. This ability to connect with the music, in Steve's experience, helps students to work through difficult plateaus and roadblocks by instilling in them an overall love of the instrument and making the learning process much easier and more exciting!
