Violin, Guitar

As the child of two musicians, Noah was always surrounded by music. At the age of five, Noah began playing the violin, where he realized that he could learn music not only by reading off the page, but also by tuning into his surroundings and learning by ear. While Noah exercised his classical violin technique throughout years of private lessons, he was also using his spare time to figure out how to play his favorite popular tunes on his instrument. Soon enough, Noah became interested in learning the guitar so he could hone his natural musicality and his increasing interest in contemporary music. Since then, Noah has played in a variety of ensembles using both instruments, including orchestras, string quartets, and jazz ensembles. Throughout high school, Noah also played in numerous bands with his close friends where he began writing and performing his original songs.

Because of his diverse approach to learning music, Noah places a strong value on musical literacy, theory, ear training, improvisation, and creativity in his teaching. Noah aims to be flexible and cater to the interests and goals of each individual student—his teaching repertoire that is not confined within one specific genre.
